A music class made for the littlest loves of our lives

Joymakers is a 45-minute music class made for preschoolers aged 6 months to 5 years. Designed and taught by an early education music specialist, JoymakersTM introduces littles to the joy of music through playβ€”all while engaging parents (or grandparents!) in the fun, too.

The Joymakers Experience

45 minutes of making music and memories together

We play along to a kids’ song while Miss Alison plays the piano, guitar, or ukulele.

Parents and littles play together with a parachuteβ€”giggles guaranteed!

β™― Music Making

Littles learn to make music with egg shakers and maracas and drums, oh my!

β™― Wind-downs

We dim the lights and wind-down with an acoustic lullaby, scarves, and snuggles.

β™― Dancing

Littles dance with ribbons, exploring musical expression through movement.

β™― Memories

I’ll take photos on my DSLR throughout class, so you can put your phone down.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions, answered

  • No drop-ins here! Classes are booked in six-week sessions in spring, fall, and winter.

  • Every six-week session is $150 ($25/class), paid in full at registration.

  • Classes are 45 minutes, but you can arrive up to 15 minutes early for free play!

  • You can bring up to three siblings to class (with no increase in your $150 registration fee!).

  • Yes! Parents participate in class, tooβ€”no phones, no distractions, just quality time with your littles.

  • Yes! A washroom and changing table is available to all JoymakersTM parents and their littles.

  • No! I’ll never post a photo of you or your little without your consent. I do take photos and videos during class, but I'll never post a photo of you or your little without your consent.

  • Unfortunately Miss Alison’s private lesson studio is full and she is unable to take on more students this year!
